I want to get a job as a Floral Designer.  What classes should I take?

Our 120 hour Basic Floral Design program is designed to completely prepare a student for an entry level position as a Floral Designer.

Will I be able to find a job after I graduate?

We do maintain a job placement assistance program.    We spend time in class reviewing career opportunities, the preparation of a resume and the job application and interview process.  Graduates have unlimited access to our posted employment listings and our staff is always available to offer advice and assistance.  Currently, 86% of our graduates secure jobs within two weeks after graduation.

How much can I expect to earn as a Floral Designer.

Our graduates report that their "first job after graduation" entry level earnings were anywhere from $7.00 per hour to $11.00 per hour.  Graduates with one year of experience report earnings of $9.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour.  Currently, a majority of our graduates go into business for themselves.

I do not live near your campuses.  Can you recommend a school in my area?

Not really. The training programs at Floral Design Institute are unique and considered to be the finest available.  We attract students from throughout the United States and around the world.  We offer the greatest amount of training in the shortest amount of time.

Do you offer financial aid?

Yes, our professional programs qualify for nearly all state funded financial aid programs including, Vocational Rehabilitation, Displaced Workers, and similar programs.  Because our programs do not exceed 120 hours, we do not qualify for Title IV programs.
