Like it? For fun, try filling your vase with curly willow. This will look like “roots” in the water. For another look, try a large aspidistra or ti leaf. The only rule is that whatever you put in needs to be smooth and hard. Hairy foliage or branches with a rough bark will leave too much debris in the water and shorten the life of your roses.
