image004.11.00.21.015 Trends-Green-2.gif (93800 bytes) Green consciousness has entered the world - both a desire for “green” living and the passion for the color green. Interpret this trend with a detailed design of green materials. Creating an ornate tapestry in a monochromatic color scheme takes a large variety of textures, shapes, and color intensities. Here, the tint of the green hydrangea, the tone of the hanging amaranthus and the shade of the trachelium mix and match well. The shapes of the flowers follow the same line, form, mass, and filler concepts noted in the previous bouquet. Notice just how much drama the addition of ribbon grass “lines” add to the design.
For added monochromatic fun, the clear glass vase is lined with ti leaves and wrapped with tied beargrass
