Begin with an 11” tray, a 6” tray, a 14” extender bar, two universal bases, a 10 ½” design ring and ¼ of a brick of floral foam. You will need waterproof tape and Lomey Adhesive to secure your mechanics.
Begin by gluing a universal base into the center of the larger tray. The second universal base glues to the bottom of the smaller tray. Yep, one up and one down. Let these sit overnight to ensure a permanent bond before you start working. Yes, I know. Overnight is forever. You can cheat and do it a bit sooner but you run the risk of the glue bond loosening and your whole design becoming a fallen pile of flowers. Now, that could provide you with a unique design style, but probably not the look you want to achieve. So, yes, wait overnight. Glue your mechanics, pour a glass of wine and read a flower book – see you tomorrow!
