Design Institute will host its third floral design exhibition “Floral Design as
Art” as part of Portland’s First Thursday Art Gallery Walk. The juried exhibition will be held at the Creative
Center located on the edge of the Pearl District, NW 17th Avenue and NW Northrup Street.
Floral Design as Art has proven to be a sensational success giving floral designers a
forum in which to present their work to the Portland arts community. The two exhibitions
staged in 2005 drew over 600 guests who gave rave reviews to the designs created by local
