of us at Floral Design Institute are so excited - at last it is here! Our Advanced, Home Study Program for the Certified
Professional Wedding Designer is now available. As
many of you know, this has been a very long wait. At
times, I'm sure you thought it would never be ready. I'll
be honest, I also had my doubts! But now I can
say with confidence this program is the best and I can't wait to share it with you.
What took so long? Well, let me fill you in... |

This program covers wedding oriented floral design in all of its glory. We created bridal bouquets in all forms and styles
plus many novelty interpretations. We designed
corsages, boutonnieres, hairpieces, and body flowers.
Flower girl flowers, ring bearer creations, and even something for the dog -
yes, the dog! And, you ask why it took so
long? Try to get a dog to wear flowers and
pose for pictures. Argghhh...that was quite
the day. We had dogs all over the studio. Which one will stand still? Where did that puddle come from? Why is that dog growling?
And the list continues...pomanders, wreaths, pricing, sales,
promotions, marketing, gardenias and stephanotis, orchids, and lilies. We filmed altar decor including arches, oversized
arrangements and topiaries. Reception decor and table top treatments. We detail wedding flower delivery, décor set up
and dismantling. I've added a 6' tall, strong
man to my wish list. I think every florist
should have at least one on their staff. |
