Anny's inspiration for this design is a Ukrainian celebration.   "In the Ukraine, they have an end of summer celebration called Ivana Kupala.  Young girls gather together and go into the fields and build a wreath of flowers.  They then choose the boy they want to give them to and put the garland on his head.  They go off together to enjoy the music, laughs and the bon fire until sunrise.  At dawn everyone gathers at the river to put the wreaths of flowers into the water.  They light a candle in the center to remember loved ones and to pray for a good harvest.  All one can see is the sunrise and the river full of illuminated flower garlands."
