The first design that you saw as you entered the exhibit was "A Collaboration with Nature" by Sheila Custer-Sage.

The inspiration for this design came from the works of nature artist Andy Goldworthy who creates amazing fleeting works or art out of nature and then quickly photographs them before they melt, wilt or dry out.

Sheila wanted to recreate Andy Goldworthy's techniques of stitching leaves with thorns or twigs to hold them in place and to emulate the use of minimal material to convey simple beauty.
