Colonize - Nest
by Julie Marie Meyer

The bee nest represents to me a thriving colony. Like people, every member is an absolutely essential part of their society. We are all sharing delicate natural resources to survive. Inspired by the influx of people joining us in the Pacific Northwest, be aware, take care of the earth, everywhere is habitat. My hope is for the design to momentarily interrupt a person’s thought and bring to them a new thought. Peace, calm, surprise, whimsy, to invoke a question.
