Sunflower Garden
by Anne Ryan

"My inspiration for this design comes from my desire to make a neat and tidy sunflower garden. I have found this impossible in an actual garden setting"

"Carefully positioned sunflowers could be displayed in a simple to assemble arrangement, but I prefer a challenge.  Art is defined as "A visual object or experience consciously created through an expression of skill or imagination. The conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects." Like so many things in life, exciting art involves risks. The challenge of that idea drives me to make unique and beautiful floral "art."

Anne Ryan was fascinated with contemporary European design and put herself through an intensified self-study for this style resulting in the launch of her business in 1999. Anne balances this business that is run in her home studio with the responsibilities of raising two pre-school age boys. To date, her greatest floral career honor is being selected by the Director of PR for Butchart Gardens to decorate their trade show booth. Many local clients include Wildwood Restaurant, Elephants Delicatessen, the owners of Clarklewis Restaurant, Food in Bloom, Art of Catering and Strong Photography just to name a few.
