| The traditional color wheel shows the color spectrum of the rainbow
curved into a circle. The color wheel is widely used to illustrate the relationships
among colors. When you combine various hues, shades,
tints and tones in pleasing ways, you create "color harmonies". There are
six classic color harmonies based on the hues of the color wheel; Monochromatic,
Analogous, Complementary, Split Complement, Triadic and Polychromatic.
