Description: Clustered spikes of very fragrant, 1 inch star shaped, waxy flowers on stems 30 to 36 inches long.
Colors: White
Botanical Facts: The name is from the Greek words polis (grey), and anthos (flower).
Design Notes: Tuberose adds mass, line and accent to many design styles.  The blossoms are also popular in wedding and corsage work.
Purchasing Hints:  Purchase stems with only 1 or 2 of the lower flowers open and a few upper buds swelling and showing color.
Conditioning:  Remove all foliage that will be below the water line. Cut under water with a sharp knife.  Hydrate in a solution of warm water and commercial floral preservative / floral food for two hours before storage or usage.
