| "Just drop the tulips in a vase" Yes, it really is
that simple. In the above arrangement I selected delicate white tulips for this
white ceramic vase. I removed only the large lower leaves from the tulips. The
leaves provide support for the tulips in this arrangement. Beginning at the outside
of the vase I placed tulips that were already showing a curve to the stem. As
the days pass these tulips will grow in wild and wonderful lines. Then, working
inward I placed more tulips until the vase was filled completely. In the arrangement below I chose a wonderful "hourglass"
shaped glass vase for my tulips. Then filled the vase with red and white varigated
tulips. With this type of vase, take care that you do not pack the tulips too
tightly together. You want to leave room for the blossoms to open. Next> |
