| Our Basic Floral Design distance learning program is designed for
students who love flowers and are serious about a career in the floral industry. |

| Our training is broken down into 15 separate Instruction
Modules. Each module consists of a reading assignment, lectures and demonstrations on
DVD, completion by you of one or more hands-on projects which you will photograph and
return to us for evaluation, critique and suggestions, a study quiz, and additional
suggested training exercises. |

| All necessary tools, non-perishable design materials and floral
supplies are provided and will be shipped to you. With our direction and advice, you
will purchase the fresh flowers needed for the completion of your assignments and
exercises. Most importantly, the FDI teaching staff is always available by phone or
e-mail to answer your questions. You may be a thousand miles away, but you are never
alone. We will guide you and assist you as you work through each lesson. |

| As you progress through your lessons, you will learn new skills and
develop the proficiency necessary to apply these skills. You will be amazed at how
quickly you will master the skills of floral design. Our proven teaching methods

arrangements, and how to price these arrangements. You will learn how to design
