| The professional Basic Floral Design certificate program is an
intensive 120 hour course that fully prepares students for entry level floral design
positions. |

Students who complete 120 hours and pass both a written and a design
examination receive our proficiency certificate. Floral Design Institute graduates can be
found in design, sales, management, executive and educational positions throughout the
United States. |

| Basic Floral Design at the Floral Design Institute was the beginning
educational program for many of today’s top designers and floral shop owners.Daily
material is presented in a cycle consisting of Lecture, Demonstration, Practice and
Critique. Lecture and demonstration make up 25% of the program, with practice and critique
making up 75%. |

A wide selection of fresh flowers and foliages are used throughout
the program and each student works on their own projects with the guidance of an
instructor. Class size is limited to assure that each student receives the individual
attention that they need. |
